dc.description.abstractGround Penetrating Radar(GPR) is a powerful tool with a wide range of applications in the nondestructive testing of concrete. It's useful for the detection of different materials embedded in a concrete, nondestructively. The purpose of this study is to detect a reinforced bar and PVC pipe embedded inside concrete and to determine the different depth using Ground Penetrating Radar(GPR). Concrete specimens used for this study has a 10㎜ diameter steel bar, 80㎜ diameter PVC pipe, and 100∼200㎜ depth and it's dimensions are 1000㎜(L)×1000㎜(W)×200㎜(D) and 1200㎜(L)×1200㎜(W)×200㎜(D). The advantages and limitations of Ground Penetrating Radar(GPR) in these applications for concrete are also discussed.en_US
