Abstract
A new ultrawide band (UWB) signal model over an elliptical scattering channel is considered to estimate angle-of-arrivals (AoAs) of cluster signals arrived at a UWB receiver for a short range indoor wireless localization. The AoA parameter estimation technique based upon the conventional MUSIC method is proposed, and the estimates of the two unknown parameter sets, AoAs and distribution parameters (DPs) are obtained.
