Abstract
ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized by modified sol-gel process. Taguchi analysis was used in this study and the molar concentration ratio of [LiOH]/[Zn(Ac)(2)] was the most influencing parameter on the particle size and the size distribution. The optimal conditions were determined by using Taguchi robust design method and nano-sized ZnO particles (similar to 30 nm) were obtained. (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
