부산지역 교통카드 사용 현황 및 선호 속성에 관한 연구

Abstract

대중교통에 대한 향상된 편익 제고 노력이 중요해 지고 있는 가운데, 교통카드는 이용요금지불을 용이하게 하여 대중교통의 서비스 수준을 향상시키고 있다. 교통카드의 활용이 점증되고 있지만 교통 카드를 사용하는 이용자의 관점에서 교통카드의 편익은 아직 검토되고 있지 않다. 그러므로 본 연구는 이용자의 입장에서 교통카드의 편익을 확인하기 위하여 교통카드의 선호 속성 확인을 주된 목적으로 하고 있다. 이용자에 대한 선호속성을 확인하기 위하여 마케팅 기법에서 활용되고 있는 결합분석(Conjoint Analysis)을 채택하였다. 조사는 부산지역을 중심으로 실시되었으며, 제시된 결과는 500명의 유효 표본에 기초하고 있다. 교통 카드의 선호 속성으로는 카드 가격, 할인율, 이용범위, 전자화폐기능 여부 등이 사용되었다. 결합 분석 결과 교통카드 선호 속성으로 가장 중요한 요인은 이용범위였으며, 그 다음으로 할인율, 전자화폐기능 순으로 나타났다. 그리고 카드가격은 가장 낮은 중요도를 나타냈다.

This paper investigates the usage behaviors and preference attributes of the transportation card in Busan. As more people use transportation card, it is appropriate to pay more attention to user satisfaction with the card. Hence, this paper purports to figure out the evaluation criteria of the transportation card based on usage behaviors. To meet the objective, this paper adopted conjoint analysis as it provides relevant importance level of attributes while preventing overestimation. Data were collected from 500 residents of Busan metropolitan city. The result shows that there are four critical attributes of the transportation card; price, discount rate, compatibility, and electronic currency function. Among these attributes, compatibility and discount rate are found out to be more important attributes.
