소진을 보고하는 미술치료사의 미술관 경험에 대한 해석학적 현상학 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 미술관에서, 소진을 보고하는 미술치료사들이 어떤 체험을 하는지 그 의미와 본질을 밝히고자 하 였다. 이를 위한 본 연구의 참여자로 대학원에서 미술치료 석사과정을 마친 후 미술치료 현장에서 활동하고 있 는 미술치료사 중 스스로 소진되었다고 보고하는 미술치료사 16명을 선정하여 진행하였다. 자료 수집은 2014년 8월부터 2014년 12월까지 진행되었으며, 참여자들로부터 생생한 미술관 체험을 얻기 위해 미술관(예술의 전당 뭉크展, 국립현대미술관 서울관, 국립현대미술관 과천관)관람과 심층인터뷰를 진행하였다. 수집한 자료는 밴 매 넌의 해석학적 현상학 연구방법에 따라 분석하였으며, 분석 결과로 본질적 주제 8개와 하위 주제 27개를 도출 하였다. 본질적 주제는 <채워지지 않고 퍼내지기만 하여 몸과 마음이 지침>, <미술관은 나를 일상과 떨어진 새 로운 세계 속으로 초대함>, <미술관의 조용한 공간을 거닐며 몸과 마음이 편안해짐을 느낌>, <내 마음대로 미 술작품을 보며 생기를 얻어감>, <미술작품을 통해 외면했던 내면의 소리에 귀 기울임>, <미술작품 속에서 나와 삶에 대한 작은 통찰들을 얻게 됨>, <나의 존재감을 느끼며 힘을 얻음>, <미술관을 떠나며 내담자를 다시 담을 수 있게 됨>이었다. 본 연구는 아직까지 미술치료사의 소진에 대한 연구가 시작 단계에 있는 미술치료학계에 미술치료사들의 소진 대처를 위한 장소로 미술관에 대한 이해를 제공해 줄 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to find out the significance and nature of the experience of art therapists, reporting burnout, who visited art museums. Among art therapists who had been treating patients in the field, 16 who reported burnout were selected as participants. Data collection was conducted from August 2014 to December 2014. The collected data were analyzed using Max van Manen’s hermeneutic phenomenological methodology, and as a result, eight essential themes and 27 sub-themes emerged. The following are the essential themes that emerged from the art museum visits experiences of art therapists reporting burnout. , Art Museums to the New World Apart From Daily Life>, Strolling in Serene Art Museums>, , Disregarded Inner Voice through Art Works>, Works>, , and Clients as Leaving Art Museums>. The study will provide an understanding of art museums as places to deal with art therapists reporting burnout
