dc.description.abstract | The public space where the human being contacts, sidewalk has become ecological, environmental and furthermore, it’s the space where the design and color comes to life.Though environmental permeable paver has been developed so far, effort to improve design keeps applied with social progression.This study is to understand current paver scene and to develop design for the upcoming permeable pavement product 'Eco-Cell' from 'Nature and Environment Co., Ltd.'.This also focuses on researching, analyzing the distinctive feature of Eco-Cell and design for possible mass production. Color, pattern design and pavement pattern design would be offered as a design theme, order-based manufacturing with both online and offline catalogue. Problems with mass production have been cleared too.Based on prior analysis, the trend of paver design that goes with surroundings should be emphasized and active use of color, pattern design is needed for environmental elements. It won’t just be developing a new paver but developing ecological design as a respectable way of marketing for demand of advancing cities. Continuous and rapid feedback would be needed to expand market globally and for successful settlement. I expect public design field to be advanced and establish its identity through improvement of permeable sidewalk paver design. | en_US |
