Abstract
The current study shows static structural characteristics for multi-layered bump foils. Structural stiffnesses of the multi-layered bump foils are smaller than those of the single layer bump foils. On the other hand, the multi-layered bump foils dissipate more frictional energy than the single layer bump foils.
