네트워킹 역량의 축적: 다국적 기업 해외 자회사의 현지 배태성 결정요인에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 다국적기업 해외자회사의 현지 네트워크 배태성의 정도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을실증분석 하였다. 이를 위해, 2012년 기준 해외에서 활동 중인 143개 국내기업 해외자회사의 현지최고경영자로부터 수집한 설문자료를 바탕으로 자료를 구축하는 한편, 현지 네트워크 배태성에영향을 미치는 요인들을 본사와의 관계적 차원과 동료 자회사들 간의 관계적 차원으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 결과에 따르면 본사에 대한 신뢰와 본사로부터의 시간적 자율성의 정도는해외자회사의 현지 네트워크 배태성에 긍정적 영향을 미치고, 자회사간의 관계강도와 유통·마케팅 노하우의 공유 정도 역시 현지 네트워크 배태성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. This study intends to provide an analytical discussion of the antecedent factors affecting the level of local network embeddedness of foreign subsidiaries. We considered two dimensions of social relationships as the factors, (ⅰ) interactions with parent firms, and (ⅱ) interactions with other subsidiaries. The empirical results of this research are as follows: the level of trust in parent firms and the level of time autonomy are positively related to the lecel of local network embeddedness. Also, the strength of interactions with other subsidiaries and the degree of distribution and marketing know-how sharing, positively affect to local network embeddedness.
