Abstract
HILS (Hardware in the loop simulation) is the middle stage of analytical method and evaluation of produce. If this technique can be used well, not only can it noticeably reduce development period and expense, but it has the advantage of being easy to change the parameter of motor and analyze the result because of its high reproducibility.[1] Therefore, the interest toward the development of HILS system is increasing to evaluate dynamic characteristic of motor drive system. And for the establishment of HILS system, the development of load motor, which can reproduce the actual driving characteristic of target motor, is required. This paper proceeded with the study on the design of IPMSM as the load motor of an urban railway vehicle's induction motor test for the verification of HILS connected control characteristic. To achieve large output of IPMSM, the rotor design that uses rotor yoke as q-axis magnetic path was proposed.[2].
