dc.description.abstract | The 21st COP, hosted in Paris, France, in December 2015, selected Paris Agreement that mandated all countries to participate in the global response to climate change. With this, the rail transportation system in Korea is undergoing active research on low-carbon emitting technologies. The current paper designs photovoltaic power generation system using the rooftop of Gwangmyeong Station, the largest railway station building in Korea, and calculates predicted power generation volume using PVsyst. Ultimately, the paper attempts to analyze the contribution of photovoltaic power generation system to the reduction carbon emission in electrical railway systems. | en_US |
