This study proposed the major environmental impact categories by construction materials using life cycle assessment. For this purpose, the theoretical consideration of the life cycle assessment and environmental impact category was performed and the direction of the study was set up. That is, the major construction material in the global warming potential view was drawn against the building and LCI database was selected. The ten impact categories are abiotic depletion, global warming, ozone layer depletion, acidification, eutrophication, photochemical oxidation, freshwater aquatic ecotoxicity, marine aquatic ecotoxicity, terrestrial ecotoxicity and human toxicity.en_US
