재한 중국인 유학생의 아르바이트 경험이 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향

Abstract

국제화 시대에 진입하면서 한국에 유학 오는 외국인 유학생들이 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 그 중에 가장 눈에 띄는 현황은 중국 유학생의 수가 항상 제일 많다는 점이다. 이들 중국 유학생 대부분은 아르바이트도 병행하고 있으며 학계에서는 이들을 “유학생-노동자”라고도 부른다. 본 연구는 재한 중국인 유학생의 아르바이트 경험이 대학생활 적응에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울특별시 소속한 대학교 재한 중국인 학부생을 대상으로 총 346명에게 대학생활 적응 척도, 아르바이트 적응 척도 구성된 설문지를 실시하였다. 재한 중국인 유학생의 아르바이트 경험이 대학생활 적응에 대한 알아보고, 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따라 차이가 있는지를 알아보기 위해 독립표본t-test 및 일원분산분석을 실시하였다. 그리고 각 변인 간 상관관계를 알아보기 위하여 상관분석을 실시하며, 아르바이트 경험 관련 변인들의 상대적인 중요도의 검증을 위해 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 아르바이트 경험과 대학생활 적응 유의미한 상관관계가 있다는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 아르바이트 경험에 따른 대학생활에 적응의 차이가 있다. 아르바이트 할 때 한국 사람과의 소통이 많을수록 대학생활 적응도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 본 연구를 통해 아르바이트 경험은 대학생활 적응과 밀접한 관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 중국인 유학생들의 대학생활에 잘 적응하기 위해 실제적인 방법을 통한 아르바이트를 적당히 필요가 있다는 것으로 파악되었다. 중국인 유학생들의 대학생활 적응을 돕기 위해 효과적이고 체계적인 아르바이트 정책이 개발되어 적용되어야 할 것이다.; With the gradual impact of globalization, the number of the foreign students in Korea is increasing. Chinese students have always been the first in the number among the foreign students in Korea. Most Chinese students do part-time job while studying in Korea. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of part-time job experience of Chinese students in Korean college life. For this purpose, a questionnaire consisting of part-time job experience scale and college life adjustment scale was administered to 346 undergraduates from Seoul's universities. The results of this study are as follows. First, the part-time job experience of the Chinese students was analyzed by the independent sample t-test and the member analysis. Correlation analysis was performed to investigate the correlation between variables and multiple regression analysis was conducted to verify the research problem. The main results of this study are as follows. There was a significant correlation between part-time job experience and college life adaptation. The more communication in the part-time job, the higher the adaptability of university life. As a result, this study showed that part-time job experience is closely related to college life adjustment. It seems that Chinese students need a part-time job in a practical way in order to adapt well to college life. An effective and systematic part-time job policy should be developed and applied to help Chinese students adapt to college life.
