dc.description.abstractCognitive radio (CR) has emerged as a promising technology to improve the spectrum utilization efficiency in an opportunistic manner. Spectrum sharing plays an important role in the networks with CR ability. In this paper, we study a task-based spectrum sharing method for CR. The proposed spectrum sharing method takes full account of not only secondary users coordination and fairness, but also excessive competition and heavy network load. The simulation results show that the proposed spectrum sharing method has better performance in terms of throughput, utilization, spectrum occupation, fairness,settling time of a new BS joins network, and collision probability of BSs. In addition, the proposed spectrum sharing method has better stability under primary user interference.-
