Color is one of important factors, using emotional characteristics of color image, build the atmosphere for reading, to attract people return to reading life. So far, most of the researches on the color image in the reading space are limited to the library. Therefore, this study will expand the scope of the reading space, not only confined to the library, but also investigate the color image of the book selling space such as the bookstore. First, I made theoretical analysis of the leading papers in the past 10 years, understood the research process and methods, obtained the basic concepts of reading space, color image and emotional language, and collected the emotional language needed for the investigation. Second, choose case investigation ground, undertake shooting to investigation spot, use computer to get colour palette, make questionnaire paper through colour palette and emotional language. Third, the case of the investigation of the user to ask the survey, the survey results analysis.
