The purpose of this study is to develop a variety of liquid and gas phase deposition processes that enable the fabrication of thin films of organic-inorganic hybrid materials and the application to electronic/optoelectronic devices. A liquid phase deposition process is proposed for the fabrication of single-crystal organic-inorganic hybrid thin films. The high power conversion efficiency of solar cells using the high-quality perovskite thin films demonstrates its utility on optoelectronic field. In addition, by using gas phase deposition process, various organic-inorganic hybrid thin films are manufactured and used for various optoelectronic device parts including solar cells and organic light emitting diodes. The successful applications of organic-inorganic hybrid thin films demonstrate that this vapor deposition technique can be a reliable method for producing high-performance and high-stability electronic/optoelectronic devices. By synergistic combination of organic and inorganic materials, organic-inorganic hybrid thin films can take advantage of both materials and provide advanced properties in the industrial field.
