한국 국가 R&D의 학제적 특성 분석 - 특허 공동IPC 연결망 분석의 활용

Abstract

본 연구는 국가 R&D와 관련된 기술분야들의 학제적 특성을 분석하기 위한 특허 공동IPC 연결망 기반의 방법을 제시한다. 기존의 연구는 국가 R&D에 대한 학제성 분석이 단순 통계수준의 계량정보에 그쳤다는 점을 고려할 때, 본 연구에서 제시되는 연결망 분석 기반의 지표들은 학제적 다양성과 결합강도 관점에서 국가 R&D에 관련된 기술들의 학제성을 분석할 수 있도록 한다. 본 연구에서는 제시된 방법에 따라 2007-2010년 사이에 등록된 국가 R&D 특허들을 활용하여 국가 R&D 공동IPC 연결망을 생성 및 분석함으로써 국가 R&D 기술분야들에 대한 학제적 특성분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구는 추후 자동화된 국가 R&D 동향분석 시스템 개발에 활용되거나, 또한 국가 R&D 정책 수립 시 기술융합의 현안 도출 및 동향 이해를 위한 프로세스에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.This paper proposes a method of using national R&D patents’ CoIPC networks to identify interdisciplinary trends of technology areas related to Korean national R&D. While previous research analyzed interdisciplinarity of national R&D with simple bibliometric descriptions, this research uses the network-based indexes to analyze its interdisciplinarity from the viewpoints of interdisciplinary “diversity of coupling” and “strength of coupling”. In this research, this proposed method was used to form a R&D CoIPC network from the Korean national R&D patents registered from 2007 to 2010. It is expected that the proposed method can be incorporated into a system for a national R&D trend analysis, and used to identify the issues of technology convergence in national R&D and formulate its related research policies.
