Abstract
Due to the growing population worldwide, urbanization and industrialization, the problem of water shortages and water pollution is growing. Industrial waste and untreated sewage, including waste water, have increased the risk of human health, including water conservation and polluted drinking water, and damaging human health. The development of related technologies to solve these problems has been ongoing, and water treatment technologies that have applied in a common without carbon emissions and chemical inputs are receiving attention. The aim of this study is a water treatment system that cleans the contaminated water containing harmful bacteria by using the foaming power generated by hydraulic cavitation phenomenon. The numerical processing unit consists of the rotor, the front cover, and the rear cover, and each element has a Dimple which accelerates the cavity in the fluid area. The intensity of the cavitation phenomenon is reported as being affected by the variation in geometry and process parameters and such as flow rate, inlet pressure, etc., and is generally assumed to be active in the presence of a variation in geometry. In this study, the flow rate, the rotational speed of rotor and the geometry of the rotor, the crossover effect of the coupling, the resultant intensity of the cavitation phenomenon, and the mechanical performance of the cavity were quantitatively evaluated. Based on the results of mechanical performance, the cooperative phenomeno of the phenomenon was selected to determine the features and operating conditions are selected. Non-circulating sterilizing method with a time of less than 2 seconds was proposed and microbial sterilizing effects verified.
