특허 정보 분석을 통한 관광 기술 동향 분석

Abstract

최근 특허 정보를 바탕으로 기술의 동향을 분석하는 방법들이 많이 활용되고 있다. 특허 정보는 기술 개발의 산출물인 발명에 대한 구체적인 정보를 포함하고 있을 뿐만 아니라 발명된 기술의 기반이 되는 기술에 대한 정보를 포함하고 있기 때문에 기술의 발전과 동향을 파악할 수 있다. 그러나 현재까지의 특허 분석 방법은 연구자의 주관적 판단이 과도하게 개입될 가능성이 높기 때문에 분석 결과에 대한 객관성이나 신뢰성을 확보하기 어렵다는 문제점이 있다. 또한 관광 분야에서 활용중인 기술의 동향을 연구한 사례는 현재 관광 산업체에서 활용하고 있는 사례를 중심으로 소개한 것이 대부분이며 특허 정보를 활용하여 관광 분야에서 활용하는 세부 기술의 동향을 파악한 연구나 유망한 기술이나 쇠퇴하는 기술을 규명한 연구는 진행되지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 관광 관련 특허를 바탕으로 관광 분야의 기술 동향을 객관적이고 정량적으로 측정하고 평가하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 텍스트마이닝 기법인 토픽 모델링의 잠재 디리클레 할당(LDA) 모형을 이용하여 관광 분야에서 활용되고 있는 세부 기술들을 도출하고자 한다. 도출된 세부 기술들을 비교하여 현재 관광 분야에서 활용중인 유망한 기술과 쇠퇴하는 기술들을 파악하고자 한다. 이를 바탕으로 관광 관련 기술 분석에 대한 초기 연구로서의 자료 및 향후 관광 분야에서 적용될 기술들에 대한 정보를 제공하고자 한다.; Recently, methods to analyze the trends of technology based on patent information are widely used. Patent information includes specific information on the invention, which is the product of the technology development, and information on the technology on which the invented technology is based, so that the development and trend of the technology can be understood. However, it is difficult to obtain objectivity and reliability in the analysis result because the patent analysis method to date highly likely involves the subjective judgment of the researcher. In addition, most studies on the technology trends in the field of tourism mainly focused on the cases that are currently used by the tourism industry. There is no research that identifies declining technologies. Therefore, this study aims to objectively and quantitatively measure and evaluate technology trends in the tourism field based on tourism-related patents. For this purpose, this study attempts to derive the detailed techniques used in the field of tourism using the Latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) model of topic modeling, which is a text-mining technique. By comparing the derived techniques, we will understand the promising technologies and declining technologies that are currently used in the field of tourism. Then, we will provide data for the initial research on the tourism-related technology analysis and information about the technologies to be applied in tourism in the future.
