- Abstract
- ABSTRACT Single atom Pt-ceria nano-structure is one of the catalysts that can be used to prepare integrated nanocomoposite material which has high chemical/thermal stability with synergetic properties compared with any other integration forms used noble metal and ceria. In this study single atom Pt-ceria nanocomposite was synthesized successfully using a facile water solvent method with urea. By transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis, well dispersed ionic Pt into ceria lattice was observed after calcination at 923K. And the catalyst synthesis was also reproducible by in-situ synthesis within ceramic anode layers with selectivity to the functional layer. Through electrochemical Impedance spectroscopy, Pt-ceria infiltrated ceramic anode showed outstanding performance and stability for long term operation compare to Ni-YSZ conventional electrode.
