Almost contractive coupled mapping in ordered complete metric spaces

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce the notion of almost contractive mapping [InlineEquation not available: see fulltext.] with respect to the mapping [InlineEquation not available: see fulltext.] and establish some existence and uniqueness theorems of a coupled common coincidence point in ordered complete metric spaces. Also, we introduce an example to support our main results. Our results generalize several well-known comparable results in the literature. MSC: 54H25, 47H10, 34B15.
