주거지 재생사업에서 일상활동과 계획활동의 사회적 자본에의 영향관계 분석

Abstract

As resident’s participation has been emphasized, a bottom-up planning method of resident’s participation such as ‘Human Town of Seoul’, ‘Making Livable Cities’, and ‘Korea Urban Renaissance Center Test-bed’ has been noticed. It can be a result of projects by resident’s participation to improve residential environment and to increase social capital caused by interrelationship between residents through resident’s participation in process of urban maintenance. Even though social capital in residential areas mainly build from normal interchange between neighbors, it can be built by having interests in community problems, sharing their own opinions, and participating into common project-based activities to deal with the problems. Therefore, this research analyzes an influence on project-based activities and daily-based activities on social capital. Subjects of this research are residential area in Changwon which is among Korea Urban Renaissance Center Test-bed project area. The result of analysis shows that daily-based activities affect the formation of social capital more than project-based activities. This indicates that one of the important factors to attract resident’s participation is trust accumulated by human relationship. Furthermore, this trust can be a valuable foundation to exchange opinions about regional issues.
