Abstract
HUNTER is a quadruped robot with elastic legs utilizing passive and active stiffness. This paper introduces hardware design concept of HUNTER and its network structure connectig sensors,actuators and the main PC. A simple half-ellipsoidal trajectory for trotting on flat terrain in proposed and feasiblity of the trajectory on the hardware is verified with a simple trot experiment.
