오장환의 윤리의식 연구

Abstract

본고는 오장환의 시와 산문에 나타난 윤리성의 양상에 대하여 규명한 글이다. 윤리란 일반적으로 공동체의 규범에 따라 인간이 지켜야 할 바른 도리와 행동의 준칙을 의미한다. 하지만 이 글에서 의미하는 윤리란 실천적이며 자유로운 주체가 되려는 의지를 뜻한다. 공동체의 규범을 따르는 차원의 윤리란 사회가 규정해 놓은 선과 악의 개념에 따르는 수동적인 행위에 불과하다. 특히 근대 초 식민제국주의가 판치던 시절의 보편적 규범이란 그 스스로가 붕괴되고 일그러진 것이었다. 이를 인식하고 벗어나고자 하는 차원에서 오장환의 윤리적 주체가 나타난다. 월북한 이후 후기 오장환의 시가 사회주의 이데올로기에 완전히 경도된 색채를 띠었음에도 불구하고, 이전까지 그의 시의 대부분은 데카당하며, 자기 부정의 색채가 두드러진다. 이는 바깥에 이미 존재하는 공동체의 이념과 이데올로기를 신봉하려 하지 않고 주체적으로 행동과 가치의 방향을 모색하였다는 것을 입증한다. 그의 시의 부정성은 궁극적으로 근대 식민제국주의의 부정성을 내면화한 자신을 직시함으로써 책임을 지려는 태도의 발현이다. 소시민으로 남으려는 자아를 완전하게 지양하는 상징적 자살을 통과한 뒤에, 새로운 사회의 가치를 수립할 수 있는 자격을 지닐 수 있다는 신념은 오장환 윤리의식의 절정이라 할 것이다.This study is to find out the aspect of Ethics Consciousness in text written by Oh Jang-hwan. Ethics generally means the right reasons and the rules to be observed by man according to the norms of the community. But ethics means here that the subject would have the will of freedom and action. Above all the norms of the modern colonial imperialism had immoral. Oh Jang hwan tried to escape this negative situation. He had made the aesthetic effort to overcome the difficulties of unstable period and trid to cognize this situation. At this time, the subject will appear ethical. Though he had the ideology of socialism, his poetry is decadent and appears the aspect of self-negation. This rather indicates that he actively tried to find the direction of the practice and value. Negativity of his poetry appears by responsibility. It is thought that he is responsible for rebutting the modern Japanese imperialism. As well as he internalized the negativity of perod. Oh Jang-hwan trid to take responsibility for the attitude. It was reflected that he wanted to remain the petit bourgeois. This attitude is called symbolic suicide. After that, Oh Jang hwan believed that they would establish a new ideal society. This is just Ethics Consciousness in text written by Oh Jang hwan.
