Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to identify families experience of participating alternativeschool of Dazom which is constructed of Enneagram. Methods: The participants of thisstudy were 7 families of which data has been collected currently attending in alternative schoolof Dazom for ten years. The data were analyzed simultaneously sith collection based on phenomenologicalanalytic method presented by colaizzi(1978). Re ts: 5 Categories were derivedfrom the data. Such as, Understand a family as it is, recover relationships within family, acknowledgethat members of a family are invaluable, maintain a constant and gradual practice,create a caring community. Conclusion: Consequently, the families participating Dazom alternativeschool whose educational paradigm is based on Enneagram for over ten years are goingthrough five stages. Breaking away from academic elitism and authoritarianism of the Koreanfamily, Dazom School nurtures a caring community; therefore, the school's operation needsto be expanded in the coming years.
