대학의 의사소통 교육 진단 모형 개발

Abstract

이 연구의 목적은 대학 교육의 수월성 확보를 위해 대학별 의사소통교육의 질을 체계적으로 분석할 수 있는 진단 도구를 개발하는 것이다. 그 결과 대학에서 의사소통 교과목을 가르치는 교수자의 직업 만족도와 교육 공급자인 대학 행정 지원체계의 효율성, 그리고 교과과정의 타당성 등 의사소통 교육의 성과를 다면적으로 검토할 진단 모형을 개발하였다. 본 진단 도구를 개발하는 데에는 전문가의 의견 수렴을 중시하는 델파이 기법을 연구 방법론으로 사용하였다. 이러한 과정을 거쳐 개발된 대학별 의사소통교육의 진단 도구는 다음과 같은 효과를 낳을 것으로 예상된다. 1) 대학 유형별(소재지, 규모, 설립 유형 등), 학문 단위 계열별 의사소통 교육의 특징을 비교 분석할 수 있다. 2) 대학별 장점과 문제점을 구체적으로 제시하여 교육에 반영함으로써 실질적인 교육 개선 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 3) 다른 대학과 비교 정보 제공이 가능해짐으로써 의사소통교육의 전반적 상황을 향상시킬 수 있다.The study aims to develop a diagnosis model that can scientifically analyze the quality of university education on communication ability in order to achieve academic excellence. As a result, a diagnostic model was developed to conduct a multi-dimensional review on communication education including job satisfaction of professors who teach communication-related subjects, effectiveness of university administration assistance system who provides education and validity of curriculum. The development process includes the research methodology, Delphi method which values consensus of experts’ opinions. It is expected that the diagnostic model developed through the process will have the following effects. 1) Characteristics of communication education can be compared by universities. 2) Strengths and issues of university can be presented in detail and reflected on the curriculum for substantial improvement in education. 3) University’s information becomes available for the comparison among universities, which can have overall improvement throughout the communication education area.
