중・고등학교 학생의 의복추구혜택에 따른 교복착용 태도와 교복 만족도에 대한 연구

Abstract

인구통계학적 특성에 따른 의복추구혜택의 분석결과, 여학생이 남학생보다 개성 및 심미성과 경제성을 더 추구하는 것으로 나타났고, 상대적으로 남학생은 여학생에 비해 유명상표를 더 추구하였다. 중학교와 고등학교에 따른 의복추구혜택에서는 개성 및 심미성과 경제성 추구에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 또한 서울과 경기도 지역의 의복추구혜택은 비슷한 결과를 보였다. 서울에 거주하는 학생과 경기도에 거주하는 학생 모두 개성 및 심미성, 실용성을 추구했지만, 상대적으로 유명상표와 경제성 추구에 대한 태도는 부정적인 것으로 볼 수 있다. 성별에 따른 교복 착용과 교복 만족도 차이를 분석한 결과, 여학생이 남학생보다 교복에 대한 만족도가 높은 것을 알 수 있었으며, 교복 변형의 경험과 태도에 대한 물음에도 남학생보다 여학생이 높았으며, 교복 변형에 대한 태도는 남녀 모두 전체적으로 긍정적임을 알 수 있었다. 중 고등학교에 따른 교복 착용과 교복 만족도의 분석 결과, 교복착용 태도의 심미성에서 고등학생의 점수가 중학생의 점수 보다 유의미하게 높았다. 교복 변형은 중학생보다 고등학생이 높다는 비슷한 결과를 통해 해석이 가능하다. 교복의 변형률이 높다는 것은 결국 자신의 외모를 타인에게 매력적으로 보이기 위함이며, 교복을 통해 자신을 개성있고 현대적인 이미지로 보여주고자 하는 심리가 반영되었다고 볼 수 있다. 지역에 따른 교복 착용과 교복 만족도 분석 결과, 경기지역 학생들이 서울 지역 학생들보다 교복에 대한 찬성도와 만족도가 높았으며, 교복 착용방법에는 지역적인 차이를 보였는데, 서울에 비해 경기도에서 교복을 변형한 경험이나 변형하려고 하는 의견이 높았고, 그 이유는 개성을 살리기 위해서이며 그 방법으로 치수나 폭을 줄이고 싶어하는 것으로 나타났다. 의복추구혜택과 교복착용 태도와의 관계 분석 결과, 개성 및 심미성을 추구하는 학생일수록 교복에서도 심미성과 안전성을 추구하지만 경제성은 추구하지 않았으며, 실용성을 추구하는 학생일수록 교복에서 심미성과 안전성보다는 경제성을 추구하는 것으로 나타났다. 유명상표를 추구하는 학생일수록 심미성과 안전성을 추구하였지만 경제성은 추구하지 않는 것으로 나타났으며, 경제성을 추구하는 학생들은 심미성, 안전성, 경제성 모두 추구하는 것으로 나타났다. 교복착용 태도가 교복 만족도에 미치는 영향을 보면, 평상시 교복착용 태도에서 심미성과 안전성, 경제성을 중요하게 생각하는 학생일수록 교복에 심미적인 부분과 실용 및 편리 부분에서도 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 중 고등학교 학생들의 의복에 대한 추구혜택과 교복 착용실태의 관계를 분석하고, 교복 착용실태가 교복 만족도에 미치는 영향을 알 수 있었다. 의복에 대한 의식과 태도가 변화하는 시대에 맞춰 학생들의 교복에 대한 욕구를 충족시키고 교복업체와 학교를 통해 학생들의 교복에 대한 만족도를 높일 수 있는 방법을 모색할 수 있는 연구라는 점에서 의의를 가진다. This study is aimed to find correlation between benefits of pursuing clothes and the attitude towards wearing school uniform, as well as the effects that wearing attitude has on the satisfaction. This research is carried out by investigating and researching into middle and high school students around capital regions in the hopes of enhancing their satisfaction to their uniforms and their desire for self-expression, resulting in a positive notion to uniforms being settled in among the students. In the regards of benefits of pursuing clothes, female students are highly pursuing individual characteristics, aesthetics, and economy all depending on the demographic factors. It is notable that students in Seoul are pursuing those elements more strongly than those in Gyeonggi-do. As for the attitude towards wearing school uniforms, the safety weighs a lot among female students. Meanwhile, those in Gyeonggi-do were more inclined to economy as they prefer wearing uniform more often than not. Students who are pursuing individual characteristics and aesthetics are less likely to pursue economy, whereas those who are pursuing practicality are pursuing better economy. Those in favor of economy, meanwhile, are pursuing aesthetics, safety, as well as economy. When it comes to the attitude towards wearing school uniforms, the result showed that it is more likely for those who are considering aesthetics, safety, and economy to be satisfied with the aesthetics, practicality, and the convenience aspects of school uniforms.
