dc.description.abstract | New synthetic routes to (+/-)-1-epi-pancratistatin and (+/-)-pancratistatin were devised using (E)-beta-borylstyrene as a dienophile for the key Diels-Alder reaction with 3,5-dibromo-2-pyrone.
