도시디자인 향상을 위한 한강전망쉼터 디자인평가에 관한 연구

Abstract

현재 도시민들의 다양한 요구가 끊임없이 증대하고 있음에도 우리 주변의 대다수 도시들은 일회적이고 일률적인 디자인이 적용되고 있다. 특히, 서울시의 중심축이 되는 한강 인근 쉼터 및 시설물 등은 방문객이 계속 줄어들고 효율적으로 이용되지 못하고 있어 서울시의 도시디자인 향상을 위한 대책 마련이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 도시디자인의 향상을 위하여 서울시 한강의 교량 위에 설치되어 있는 한강전망쉼터 6곳을 사례로 선정하여 디자인을 평가하였다. 문헌연구를 통해 서울시 도시디자인 요소 중 공공건축물 규정항목을 한강전망쉼터에 적합하도록 재구성하고, 각 사례를 위치환경, 건축경관, 공공공간, 건물내부, 건물입면 측면에서 평가하였다. 평가결과 한강전망쉼터로의 안전성과 접근성을 배려한 디자인을 적용하여 이용자들의 유입을 활성화 하는 것이 중요한 요소인 것으로 파악하였다. 또한 도시디자인 향상을 위해서는 한강전망쉼터 내에 보다 다양한 프로그램을 적용하여 공간 활용성을 높이고 각 공간의 특성에 맞는 실내디자인 요소들의 도입도 필요하다. 향후 한강전망쉼터가 도시이미지를 향상시키기 위해서는 주변 건축물 및 환경과의 조화를 이루고 시민들의 삶의 질을 높일 수 있도록 지속적으로 개선되어야 할 것이다 .Currently, urban residents increasingly raise a variety of their incessant demands but most of the cities around us only apply one-time designs in the same light. In particular, the rest areas and facilities on riverside of the Han River serving as a central axis of Seoul City have witnessed the constant decrease in visitors and not used efficiently, suggesting that a countermeasure to improve the urban design of the city should come up with. In this regard, this study conducted the theoretical discussion on urban design and selected and examined the rest area to look around the Han River installed on the bridge across the river for the case study. The literature study re-composed the regulatory items for public buildings among the urban design elements of the city, appropriate for the Han River Observatory in order to assess each case for location environment, architecture landscape, public space, and interior and elevation of building. The findings revealed that it was an important element to revitalize attraction of users by applying a design taking into account the safety and accessibility of the observatory. In addition, improving urban design required to enlarge space availability applying various programs within the observatory and to introduce the elements of interior design appropriate for the features of each space. For the observatory to improve the urban image in the future, it should harmonize with the surrounding buildings and environment and continue to be improved enough to enhance the quality of citizens' lives.
