한국판 완벽주의적 자기제시 척도(PSPS-K)의 개발과 타당화

Abstract

본 연구는 Hewitt 등이 개발한 척도의 개념을 근거로 한국판 완벽주의적 자기제시 척도(PSPS-K)를 개발하고 신뢰도와 타당도 검증을 통해 한국문화에 적합한 한국판 완벽주의적 자기제시의 속성을 발견하기 위해서 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 대학생을 대상으로 하여 PSPS-K의 예비문항을 개발하고 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, ‘완벽주의적 자기노력’, ‘불완전함 은폐노력-행동적’, ‘불완전함 은폐노력-언어적’으로 구성된 3요인 모델이 확인되었으며, 이 모델은 확인적 요인분석에서도 지지되었을 뿐만 아니라, 기존의 완벽주의 척도와도 유의한 정적 상관을 나타내었다. 또한 ‘불완전함은 폐노력-행동적’ 요인에서 남자보다는 여자가 더 높은 점수를 나타내었고, ‘불완전함 은폐노력-언어적’ 요인에서는 대학생 집단보다 성인집단이 더 높은 점수를 보여주었다. 한편, 완벽주의적 자기제시의 하위차원은 우울감, 자기검색, 자기구실만들기와 각각 다르게 관련됨을 보여줌으로서, Hewitt 등(2003)이 제시한 바와 같이 완벽주의적 자기제시 척도의 차원 별 독립성을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 완벽주의적 자기제시 척도의 유용성과 연구의 제한점 등이 논의되었다.The current study attempted to develop and validate the ``Perfectionistic Self Presentation Scale-Korean version(PSPS-K)`` based on the concept of ``Perfectionistic Self Presentation Scale: PSPS``. Study 1, the preliminary questions of PSPS-K were developed and administered to 230 undergraduate students for factor analysis. The results showed that the PSPS-K was composed of three factors(``Perfectionistic Self Promotion: PSP``, ``Nondisplay of Imperfection: NDP``, ``Nondisplay of Imperfection: NDC``), and the PSPS-K was positively correlated with other perfectionism scale. According to the T-test, the women group was higher than the man group in the subscale of PSPS-K, ``Nondisplay of Imperfection: NDP``. As well, the three factors of PSPS-K were positively correlated depression scale, self-monitoring scale, self-handicapping scale differently. In study 2, confirmatory factor analysis of PSPS-K showed that 3 factor model was supported satisfactory, and the adult group was higher than undergraduate students group in the subscale of PSPS-K, ``Nondisplay of Imperfection: NDC``. Finally, the implications of this study and directions for future study were discussed.
