대학 글쓰기 교육에서 창의성 향상을 위한 한 방향: 쓰기 전 활동인 고정관념 깨뜨리기 수업 모형을 중심으로

Abstract

본고는 대학 글쓰기 교육에서 이루어지는 창의적 사고를 신장하기 위한 쓰기 전 활동의 실례(實例)를 제시함으로써 대학 글쓰기 교육에 도움을 주려는 것이다. 고정관념 깨기가 창의적 글쓰기의 가장 기초적인 출발이라 보고 그 수업 모형을 제시해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저는 고정관념 깨뜨리기가 왜 대학 글쓰기 교육에서 중요한가를 살펴보았다. 그리하여 고정관념이 생기게 되는 근본적인 원인을 파악하면서 고정관념을 깨뜨리기 위한 방향까지 모색하고자 하였다. 고정관념 깨뜨리기 방식을 세 가지 층위에서 다루었다. 첫째는 ‘감각기관의 착각 깨뜨리기’로써 인간의 인식 체계와 감각기관이 갖는 한계를 자각하고 열린 사고를 갖는 훈련을 기르는 것이다. 뇌 과학과 인지심리학에서 활용되는 이론을 활용하여 인간이 고정관념을 갖게 되는 이유를 살피고 그 한계를 벗어나기 위한 훈련 방법을 제시하였다. ‘반대 방향으로 바라보기,’ ‘입장 바꿔 생각하기,’ ‘야누스의 사고’ 등을 생각해 보았다. 두 번째는 ‘허위 이데올로기 깨뜨리기’이다. 주체가 올바른 감각을 지니더라도 세계가 허위 이데올로기에 의해 왜곡되어 있으므로 올바로 인식하지 못하고 고정관념을 갖게 된다. 허위 이데올로기의 원인과 현상에 대해 살피고 현실의 허위의식으로부터 생기는 편견이나 선입견을 탈피하기 위한 훈련을 생각해 보았다. ‘기존 지식과 상식을 비판적으로 사고하기,’ ‘이분법적 사고에서 벗어나기’를 제시하였다. 세 번째는 ‘관습적 차용(借用) 깨뜨리기’로써 상식이나 지식이 습관처럼 굳어진 고정관념에 대해 살펴보았다. 이를 벗어나기 위해 ‘관습적 생각 뒤집기,’ ‘새롭게 정의하기,’ ‘사전적 의미 반대로 생각하기’를 제시하였다.창의력을 키우고 참신한 생각을 하기 위해서는 고정관념을 타파하고 인식을 새롭게 전환할 수 있어야 한다. 본고의 논의가 대학 글쓰기에서 창의적인 사고와 발상으로 나아가는데 실질적인 도움이 되기를 기대한다.This paper is trying to help university writing by presenting pre?writing’s activities for training creative thinking. I think that breaking the stereotype is the most essential key elements to creative writing, and decide to show the instructional model. First, I looked why breaking the stereotypes is important in university writing. So I seized the underlying causes to make stereotypes and searched directions for up to break stereotypes. I discussed breaking stereotypes in layers of three kinds of methods. First is the “breaking the illusion of the senses”. It’s a realizing the limitations of human cognitive system and sense organs and training to be open minded. I suggested training methods to get out of the limits by using the theory in brain science and cognitive psychology. I thought ‘In the opposite direction View,’ ‘position to think about change,’ ‘thinking of Janus’. Second is ‘breaking the false ideology’. Even if Subject has the correct sense, because the world is distorted by false ideologies, so he will have a fixed idea. I looked about the causes and symptoms of the false ideology and thought about training to escape from prejudice or preconception made by a false sense of reality. I suggested ‘thinking critically existing knowledge and common sense,’ ‘escaping from dichotomous thinking’. Third is the breaking conventional borrowings’. I looked stereotypes that common sense or knowledge are hardened like habits. I suggested ‘conventional thinking flip,’ ‘redefine’ and ‘thinking contrary lexical meaning’.To grow creativity and fresh ideas we should be able to break stereotypes and switch to a new awareness. This paper’s discusses will be expected to help practically in the university writing’s creative thinking and ideas.
