- Abstract
- Injectable cell delivery using hydrogels has been very attractive in tissue engineering. Alginate and hyaluronate are representative biomaterials widely used in many biomedical applications. We prepared hydrogels using a combination of RGD-modified alginate and hyaluronate in the presence of primary chondrocytes. The gels were injected into mice using a syringe and were useful to form cartilage in vivo.
