Abstract
본 연구는 강원도 소도시 지역에 소재한 초등학교 고학년에 재학중인 학생 191명을 대상으로 가족식사 빈도가 높은 군과 낮은 군으로 구분하여 식행동과 영양지식 정도를 비교∙분석하였으며 학령기 아동에게 가족식사의 중요성을 인식시키기 위한 교육의 기초 자료 제공을 목적으로 하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 조사대상자의 가족 형태로는 핵가족이 69.1%로 가장 높았으며, 가족식사 빈도는 아침식사보다 저녁식사가 높았다. 가족 외식 횟수는 일주일에 1-2회가 58.1%로 가장 많았고, 가족식사 소요시간은 평균 28분이었다. 2. 조사대상자의 식행동은 ‘적당한 식사량으로 먹는다’고 응답한 비율이 61.3%로 가장 높았다. 편식은 조사 대상자 중 50.3%를 차지했고, 가장 편식이 많은 식품은 채소 및 과일류였다. 3. 조사대상자의 가족식사 빈도에 따른 주요 식품군섭취 빈도조사에서는 가족동반 아침식사 빈도가 높은 군이 낮은 군에 비해 두류, 난류 및 고기류, 생선류, 채소 및 버섯류, 과일류, 해조류, 유제품류의 섭취가 유의적으로 많았고, 가족동반 저녁식사 빈도가 높은 집단은 두류, 채소 및 버섯류, 해조류에서 유의적으로 섭취 빈도가 높아(p<0.05),특히 가족동반 아침식사는 학령기 아동의 균형 잡힌 식품 섭취에 영향을 미친다는 것을 예상 할 수 있었다. 4. 조사대상자의 가족식사 빈도에 따른 식행동 조사 결과, 가족동반 아침식사와 저녁식사 빈도가 높은 군에서 각각 유의적으로 규칙적인 식사를 하는 것으로 나타났다(p<0.05). 5. 조사대상자의 가족식사 빈도에 따른 영양지식 조사 결과, 가족동반 저녁식사 빈도가 높은 군이 낮은 군보다 유의적으로 영양지식 점수가 높았으나, 가족동반 아침식사 빈도에 따라서는 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 즉, 식사시간이 비교적 여유로운 저녁식사가 가정 내 영양교육에 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
This study analyzes the dietary behaviors and nutritional knowledge among 191 students in elementary school in Kangwondo. The students were divided into two groups according to how often they have family meals. The purpose of this study is to provide basic information for educating children in schools the importance of having family meals. The results are as follows. 1. As for family types, the nuclear family were the most frequent of 69.1%, and the frequency of family meals was higher for dinner than for breakfast. The highest response regarding the number of dining outings for the family was 1-2 times per week, which was 58.1%. Average family meal time was 28 minutes. 2. The percentage of respondents who answered "I eat an appropriate amount" was 61.3%. 50.3% of the respondents replied that they have were picky regarding what they eat, and the food that they avoided the most were fruits and vegetables. 3. Regarding the frequency of the intake of food in major food groups according to the frequency of family meals, respondents who had high frequency of family breakfasts significantly consumed a lot more beans, eggs, meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, seaweeds, and dairy. For respondents who had a higher frequency in family dinners significantly consumed beans, vegetables and mushrooms and seaweeds more often. This shows in particular that family breakfasts have an impact on balance food intake for school-aged children. 4. The survey regarding dietary behaviors according to the frequency of family meals showed that both groups where the frequency was high for family breakfasts and dinners respectively had significantly regular meal times. 5. As a result of surveying the subjects the nutritional knowledge according to the frequency of family meals, the scores regarding the nutritional knowledge test was significantly higher for those who belonged to the group with higher frequency for family meals, than those who belonged to the group with lower frequency. As for the group regarding the frequency of family breakfasts, there was no significant difference between the high and low frequency groups. In other words, it was found that a relatively relaxed family dinner times have an influence on the nutrition education within the family.
