서비스케이프, 이용밀도 및 방문객 만족간의 관계분석- 워터파크를 중심으로 -

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 워터파크의 서비스스케이프가 방문객 만족도에 미치는 영향과 이용밀도의 조절효과를 분석하는데 있다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 서비스스케이프와 방문객 만족도, 이용밀도 및 워터파크의 물리적 환경 특성 등에 대한 문헌연구를 실시하였으며, 이를 토대로 연구가설을 설정하여 웅진플레이도시 워터파크를 대상으로 실증분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 워터파크 서비스스케이프 구성요인으로 ‘매력성’, ‘쾌적성’, ‘편의성 및 안전성’, ‘시설의 다양성’의 4개 요인이 도출되었는데, ‘쾌적성’, ‘안전성’, ‘시설의 다양성’은 워터파크의 물리적 환경 특성이 반영되어 나타난 결과로 해석되었다. 한편, 연구가설에 대한 검증결과, 서비스스케이프 구성요인은 방문객 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미친다는 [연구가설 1]은 지지되었으며, ‘매력성’, ‘시설의 다양성’, 편의성 및 안전성’, ‘쾌적성’의 순으로 방문객의 만족도에 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 서비스스케이프 구성요인이 방문객 만족도에 미치는 영향은 이용밀도에 따라서 차이가 있다는 [연구가설 2]도 지지되었다. 연구의 결과는 워터파크의 경우에도 일반적인 테마파크와 같이 방문객 만족도 향상을 위해 ‘매력성’이 중요하게 계획․관리 되어야 하며, 특히, 조절변수인 이용밀도에 따라 만족도 차이를 상대적으로 크게 보인 ‘쾌적성’, ‘편의성 및 안전성’에 대한 세밀한 고려가 필요함을 시사한다. 본 연구는 워터파크 서비스스케이프의 구성요인을 도출하고, 워터파크 서비스스케이프와 만족도의 관계에 있어 이용밀도의 조절효과를 검증하였다는데 의미가 있다. This study is to analyze the effect of servicescape on the satisfaction of visitors to water park and role of the density as a moderating variable. The hypotheses were formulated for the study and the in-depth empirical analysis was made on the Wongjin Playdoci Water Park. The analysis results showed that the Water Park's servicescape is composed of four factors such as'attractiveness', 'comfort', 'convenience and safety‘ and ’facility's diversity‘. It looks like that the elements of 'attractiveness', 'comfort', 'safety' and 'facility's diversity’ reflect the physical environment of the water park. On the other hand, the verification of the hypotheses showed the followings. The hypothesis 1 stating that the components of the service scape affects the satisfaction of visitors was supported and it was found that the factors are affecting the satisfaction of visitors in the order of 'attractiveness', 'facility's diversity', 'convenience and safety' and 'comfort'. In addition, the hypothesis 2 stating that the effect of factors of the servicescape on the satisfaction of visitor depends on the use density was also supported. The study results have the implications that in case of water park, the attractiveness shall be put priority for the enhanced satisfaction of visitors in the same as the general theme parks and that the detailed consideration shall be given to the 'comfort' and 'convenience and safety' as they show the big difference in the satisfaction depending on the use density, which is the moderating variable. This study has meaning that it has derived the factors of servicescape in the water park and that the role of use density has been verified in the relation between servicescape and the satisfaction.
