서비스 산업에서 스마트워크 IT자원이 업무효율성과 기업성과에 미치는 영향

Abstract

최근 융복합 IT기술을 도입하여 새로운 업무형태로 스마트워크가 떠오르고 있다. 우리나라에서도 여러 기업에서 스마트워크 도입을 적극적으로 검토하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이론적 틀로서 ‘자원기반관점’(Resource-Based View)을 사용하여 서비스 산업에서 스마트워크 IT자원이 업무효율성과 기업성과에 미치는 영향 요인을 조사하였다. 본 연구는 스마트워크에 대한 기존 연구를 바탕으로 파악된 요인들 간의 영향관계를 실증적으로 분석함으로써 학문적인 기여를 하였을 뿐만 아니라, 스마트워크를 도입하려는 기업에서 전략적으로 활용할 수 있는 결과를 제시함으로써 실무적으로도 의미있는 결과를 제시하였다. 구조방정식모형검증결과 스마트워크 IT자원 중 IT인프라와 IT스킬이 개인 업무 효율성에 유의한 영향을 주고, 업무어플리케이션과 IT스킬이 연대협력업무 효율성에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 개인 업무 효율성과 연대협력업무 효율성이 재무성과와 시장성과에 각각 유의한 영향을 줄 수 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러므로 서비스산업에서 스마트워크를 도입하여 실제업무에 적용한다면 업무효율성과 기업성과에 긍정적 영향을 주고, 이는 기업의 지속적 경쟁우위 획득으로 이어질 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. With advances in IT Smart-Work is emerging as a new way of conducting business and several companies are considering to introduce the Smart-Work digital convergence technology. In this paper, we examined the effects of the Smart-Work IT resources on the work efficiency and the corporate performances in service industry by applying the Resource-Based View. The results of the structural equation modelling analysis showed that Smart-Work IT infrastructure and individual IT skills had positive influence on individual work efficiency while business application software and IT skills affected team work efficiency. Also, we confirmed that individual and team work efficiency positively affect financial and market performance of business firms. With the findings of the study, we expect that the introduction of Smart-Work would have positive effect, at least in service industry, on work efficiency and corporate performance, which will in turn lead to gaining competitive advantage for those firms adopting Smart-Work.
