노인여가복지시설의 서비스스케이프 분석지표에 관한 연구

Abstract

초고령사회에 대비한 양질의 노인복지정책이 다양한 복지서비스로 환원되어 지역사회의 노인들에게 효율적으로 전달될 수 있도록 하는 것은 매우 중요한 과제이며 이를 위해 노인복지서비스의 대표적인 물리적인 환경인 노인여가복지시설은 각 지역에서 매우 중요한 역할을 수행할 것이라고 예측된다. 본 연구는 기존의 상업시설을 중심으로 발전되어 왔던 서비스스케이프 이론을 바탕으로 노인여가복지시설에 적용될 수 있는 서비스스케이프에 대해 알아보고 이에 따른 분석지표를 도출하고 이를 검증해 보고자 한다. 이를 위해서 서비스스케이프 분석지표를 바탕으로 국내·외 노인여가복지시설 설치평가기준과 건축학, 사회복지학, 환경심리학 등에서 노인여가복지시설의 환경이 갖추어야 할 항목을 추출하여 노인여가복지시설의 서비스스케이프를 분석하기 위한 지표를 도출하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 노인여가복지시설의 서비스스케이프는 ‘노인여가복지시설에서 제공되는 다양한 서비스를 지원하기 위한 물리적인 환경 또는 서비스의 유형적인 단서’라 정의내릴 수 있다. 노인여가복지시설의 서비스스케이프에 대한 분석지표는 안전 요소, 기능적 요소, 심미적 요소, 주변 요소, 사회적 요소 다섯 가지의 기준으로 나눌 수 있으며 37개의 세부지표로 나열하여 정리하였다. 이후 추가적으로 본 연구에서는 분석지표에 대한 검증 및 평가를 위해 8명의 전문가 심층인터뷰(in-depth interview)를 실시하여 리커르트 5점 척도를 기준으로 지표의 중요도를 측정하였다. 측정 결과 안전 요소는 4.41, 기능적 요소는 4.27, 심미적 요소는 3.66, 주변 요소는 4.20, 사회적 요소는 4.25의 중요도를 나타내었다. 본 연구는 노인여가복지시설에 적합화된 서비스스케이프의 개념을 정립하였으며 시설 내의 이용자, 직원 그리고 물리적인 환경 사이의 사회적인 요소를 포함하였다는 의의가 있다. 추후 후속연구가 이어질 것이며 이러한 연구결과를 통해 다가오는 초고령화 시대에 대응하는 노인복지시설의 물리적인 환경에 조금이나 보탬이 되기를 기대한다. To make provision for the super-aged society, the senior welfare facility which is a kind of typical physical environment of the nursing service would be expected to perform a very important role in local community. This study was conducted to identify the constructs of the servicescapes of senior welfare facility and to draw analysis indicators of it. For this, we performed literature review based on domestic & foreign government guide, service marketing theory and interior architectural results concerning the physical environment of the senior welfare facility. The result of this study showed as follows: servicescapes of the senior welfare facility could be explained as "a whole set of physical environment to support a variety of services provided by the senior welfare facility for the elderly or services of the kind of tangible clues". Analysis indicators of the senior welfare facility's servicescape could be explained as five factors: safety factor, functional factor, aesthetic factor, ambient factor and social factor. In addition we developed 37 pieces of detailed factors referred to five factors. The evaluation and verification of analysis indicators was carried out through 8 experts in-depth interviews. We inspected importance factor using a 5-point Likert scale, therefore safety factor was 4.41, functional factor was 4.27, aesthetic factor was 3.66, ambient factor was 4.20 and social factor was 4.25. More than anything else, in this study, there is a sense that it has established the concept of servicescape adapted to the senior welfare facility and contained a social element between the employees and the physical environment. Theoretical and practical implications of findings are discussed, and future research directions are proposed. we expect to be a little or benefits to the senior welfare facility corresponding to the future of the super-aged society.
