건축설계지원 모바일 웹과 앱의 분석을 통한 건물정보모델링(BIM) 활용 가능성 고찰

Abstract

본 논문은 모바일 환경의 웹과 앱 기반 건축설계지원 도구를 분석하고, 이를 통해 건물정보모델링 (BIM: Building Information Modeling)을 활용한 설계지원도구로써의 응용 가능성을 고찰하고자한다. 이는 최근 두 종류의 큰 변화의 키워드인 ‘모바일’과 ‘BIM’이 구체적으로 어떻게 설계환경과 연관되는지 복합적 접근을 기반으로 설명될 수 있다. 모바일 스마트기기 사용자의 관점에서, 스마트폰과 태블릿PC 등의 사용이 보편화 되면서 다양한 모바일 웹과 앱 기반의 설계지원 응용 프로그램의 도입 및 활용되고 있으며, 전문 설계자의 관점에서는, BIM의 도입과 응용이 건설 산업 분야 전반 및 특히 설계영역에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 이러한 환경의 변화 패러다임에 보조 하여 최근까지의 다양한 건축 설계지원 웹과 앱 기반 도구의 분석을 통해 그 특징과 사용성을 비교해보고, 이를 확장하여 BIM 기술의 적용성 및 사용성을 분석하고자 한다. 약 20여종의 설계지원도구용 웹과 앱을 크게 두 가지의 관점인 1) 설계지원도구로써의 사용성, 그리고 2) BIM 기술의 응용 가능성에 대해 조사 및 분석하였다. This paper is focusing on the application of BIM (Building Information Modeling) with analysis of mobile environment-based Web and App as architectural design support tools. The more tablet PCs and smart devices have been used by people, the more web and mobile applications to support architectural design have been introduced. Another main keyword of this research is BIM that shifts the paradigm of conventional AEC industry recently. We aim to analyze the usability and applicability of BIM using architectural design supportive Web and App tools based on the established criteria. This paper thus analyzes more than twenty Web and App software for comparing their design supportive capabilities, and then summarizes them in specific criteria especially focusing on the BIM-compatible applications. According to the analysis result, specific groups of Web and App have been categorized in terms of two perspectives: BIM and architectural design support. Later part is dealing with a demonstration of its use scenario. The application of mobile environment and BIM should be carefully reviewed in accordance with the growth and changes of the design environments.
