Abstract
Indoor dust density is one of the most influential factors to the occupant’s health. Especially, ultrafine particles under 2.5um in diameter(PM2.5) easily permeate through human body causing serious respiratory diseases. In order to analyze and continually manage indoor environments, an effective way to figure out the indoor condition is necessary. Also, continuously measuring wide range of indoor environment became affordable because of diverse sensors became downsized and low-priced. Therefore, as the importance of intuitive visualization of collected environment data is increased, this paper proposes an integrated approach to the visualization of indoor dust density. The entire system consists of three major modules: 1)Data Collection Module, 2)Data Processing Module, 3)Visualization Module. The system is demonstrated with GP2Y1010AU0F Sensor, which is able to measure ultrafine particles over 0.8um at maximum, and Arduino Uno board. To sum up, this paper proposes an integrated system for visualization of indoor dust density.
