dc.description.abstractAn adaptive bitrate (ABR) algorithm aims to optimize video streaming quality. Although many works have been proposed for enhancing video quality, a deeper understanding is required due to the complexity of today's video streaming environment. In this paper, we propose to analyze the behavior and policies of existing ABR algorithms through measurements on large-scale network datasets. Furthermore, based on the results, we introduce a simple yet effective fused algorithm that combines the strengths of existing algorithms and evaluate its performance.-
