Abstract
This study is aimed at empirically analyzing the correlation among the following: PE teacher trust formation factors; PE teacher trust; class satisfaction; attitude toward PE class. The target was 500 high school students in Gyeonggi-do, who were selected through convenience sampling method. The collected data was processed through PASW Ver 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 to conduct confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model (SEM) analysis. After each hypothesis was tested after verifying the goodness of fit of the model, the following results were obtained. First, ‘credibility,’ a sub-factor of trust formation, had a positive impact on trust in PE teachers. However, ‘benevolence,’ a sub-factor of trust formation, had no impact on trust in PE teachers. Second, trust in PE teachers had a positive impact on class satisfaction. Third, trust in PE teachers had a positive impact on attitude toward PE class. Fourth, class satisfaction had a positive impact on attitude toward PE class.
