UV 프린팅을 활용한 전폭벽지 디자인 분석

Abstract

현재 벽지시장은 디지털 프린팅을 활용한 전폭벽지 디자인제품이 대중화 되고 있으며, 그중 UV 프리팅(Ultra-Violet Printing)을 활용한 전폭벽지 제품은 소재에 제한을 받지 않고 사용할 수 있다는 큰 장점으로 인해 벽지업체에 빠르게 확산되고 있다. UV 프린팅은 UV 경화 잉크가 자외선 조사장치에서 발생되는 특수 자외선 파장에 의해 잉크가 경화되기 때문에, 기존 합지나 엠보, PVC비닐벽지 및 직물벽지에 Texture를 살려서 프린팅 가능하다. 이러한 장점은 업체마다 개발된 Texture 벽지위에 다양한 디자인을 프린팅 할 수 있어 업체별 차별화된 전폭벽지가 생산되고 있다. 디지털 전폭벽지는 전폭(100cm×250cm)에 모티브 크기를 제한받지 않고 디자인이 가능하기 때문에 자유롭고 창조적인 디자인을 구성할 수 있다. 또한 벽면전체를 명화나 실사이미지 그대로 재현할 수 있어 벽화 같은 분위기의 디자인을 가능하게 한다. 이러한 디자인의 자유로움은 인테리어를 개선하려는 매장에서부터 안방이나 거실에 부분적으로 활용되면서, 현재는 현관, 복도, 서재, 어린이방, 주방, 화장실까지 확대되어 벽지디자인을 획기적으로 변화시키고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 벽지 시장에 빠르게 확산되고 있는, UV프린팅을 활용한 전폭벽지 디자인 경향을 분석하여, 전폭벽지 디자인의 새로운 개발 방향을 모색하고자 한다. 또한 본 연구가 향후 디지털 전폭벽지 디자인 개발에 도움이 되기를 기대하며, 현재 개발된 친환경 기능성 벽지와 UV 프린팅이 결합한 새로운 디지털 전폭벽지 개발로 벽지 산업 활성화에 도움이 되기를 기대한다.;The full width wall paper produced by digital printing has been popularized in market. In particular, Ultra-Violet Printing (UV printing) has come into wide use because it has the advantage of using without material limit. It is possible for UV printing to show up various texture on the laminated paper, embo, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and fabric because the ink can be solidified by ultra violet light. Each company has been producing the full width wall paper with such advantages. As the digital full width paper (100cm x250cm) has no restriction to a motive size, it is easy to design free and creative patterns. Moreover, a landscape or realistic images on the whole wall can be produced like a wall painting. Because of such expressive freedom, it is extensively being used from the main living room, the front door, hallway, and kitchen, to toilet with various design changes. Thus, this study aims to analyze the tendency of the full width wall paper design utilizing UV printing which has been popularized in market for developing new wall paper design. It is believed that this study will be used in developing patterns with developed functional environmentally friendly wall paper and the digital full width wall paper associated with UV printing in the future, and this will lead the revitalization of wall paper industry.
