컬러리스트 국가기술자격시험 출제경향 분석과 개선방안 연구

Abstract

현대사회는 개인의 학력보다는 재능, 능력과 전문성있는 자격의 필요성이 강조되는 시대가 되었다. 또한직업의 다양화, 세분화, 전문화 현상에 따라 보다 앞선 경쟁력과 전문성을 갖추는 것이 중요해지고 있다. 디자인 산업에서도 디자인 전반의 부가가치를 높이기위해 컬러의 중요성이 부각되고 전문화되며, 그 결과디자인 관련 산업현장에서 색채관련 업무를 전문적으로 수행하고 자문할 수 있는 컬러리스트 인력이 확산되고 있다. 컬러리스트 국가기술자격시험은 2002년부터 한국산업인력공단에서 실시하고 있으며, 디자인관련 국가기술자격시험 중 가장 활성화되어있다. 그러나컬러리스트자격은 국가기술자격으로서 전문가의 자질과 역량을 검증해주는 제도임에도 불구하고, 아직까지취업과 실무현장에서 활용도가 떨어진다고 평가된다. 따라서 본 논문은 컬러리스트의 전문성과 현황을 파악하고, 국가기술자격증의 인식과 기능에 대한 분석으로 출발하였다. 또한 우리나라보다 일찍이 시행한 일본의 컬러코디네이터 국가기술시험의 현황과 구성 내용을 비교분석하였다. 컬러리스트는 활동 영역이 광범위하고 타 직종의 전문성과 결부되어 직무범위가넓고, 부가가치가 높아지므로, 단순한 이론적 지식암기와 반복적 실기연습으로 익힌 내용을 일회성 검정에 의해 자격을 얻는 방식에는 한계가 있다. 따라서출제경향의 분석결과 개선방안의 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 산업현장에서 자격증의 전문성, 적합성, 활용성을 높여주기 위하여 컬러리스트 국가기술시험제도의 출제는 취업관련 분야와 연관성이 높은 분야의 전문지식 검증내용과 둘째, 전공분야의 기초지식습득과 학점 인정의 학력보완제도의 검증내용으로 구별이 이루어져야 한다. 이것을 통하여 학생들에게 참고할 만한정보를 제공하고 활용되도록 함은 물론 컬러리스트국가기술자격시험제도의 개선되어야 할 방향을 고찰하였다.; In the modern society, individual talents, abilitiesand professional qualification are considered to be moresignificant that educational background. Furthercompetitiveness and professionalism have also beenimportant due to varied, subdivided and specialized jobs. In case of design industry, the importance of design hasbeen emphasized and specialized to improve added valueof design. As a result, the number of colorists who dealwith general color business and are able to give anadvice at design industry has increase. Colorist NationalTechnical Qualification Test has been conducted byHuman Resources Development Service of Korea sin2002 and is the most activated test among nationalqualification test related to design. Even though coloristqualification is verified as national technical qualificationwith professional's talents and abilities, it seems thatthe certification is not utilized to get a job or to workat practical field. Thus, this study aims to figure outcolorists' professionalism and current state and analyzeawareness and functions of the national technicalcertification. It also discovers the current state andcontents of color coordinator national technical test inJapan that started earlier than one in Korea throughcomparison analysis. As colorists work in various fieldsof activity and is connected with professionalism ofother fields with high values, current way to test simplymemorized theory and repetitive practice has its limit. Thus, improvement plans after analysis of the testquestion trends are follows: first, the test should becomposed of contents related to jobs with professionalknowledge to improve professionalism, suitability andavailability of the certificate. Second, the test shouldconsist of basic knowledge about the major and earingcredits to implement academic ability. It is expected tooffer useful information to students and be utilized anddirections that should be considered for the coloristnational technical qualification test is revealed.
