페렉과 루보의 『겨울 여행/어제 여행(Le Voyage d’hiver/Le Voyage d’hier)』에 나타난 글쓰기 양식 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 조르주 페렉과 자크 루보의 『겨울 여행/어제 여행(Le Voyage d’hiver/Le Voyage d’hier)』(1997)에 나타난 다양한 글쓰기 양식을 탐구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이 작품에서 두 작가는 인용의 글쓰기, 다시 쓰기, 허위의 글쓰기 등 다양한 양식의 글쓰기를 시도한다. 페렉과 루보가 추구하는 ‘인용의 글쓰기’는 기존의 문학적 유산들로부터의 차용과 변주를 바탕으로 하며 텍스트를 하나의 퍼즐로, 글쓰기를 일종의 퍼즐 맞추기 행위로 간주한다. 또한 루보는 『어제 여행』에서 페렉의 문학과 글쓰기에 대한 ‘기억하기’로서의 ‘다시 쓰기’를 시도하는데, 이 작품 속에서 페렉의 『겨울여행』의 이야기를 이어가고 발전시켜갈 뿐 아니라 페렉의 또 다른 소설인 『53일』의 내용도 삽입해 풀어나간다. 아울러, 페렉과 루보는『겨울 여행/어제 여행』에서 19세기 프랑스 문학사를 배경으로 실재와 허구를 넘나들고 온갖 가짜 사실들과 진짜 사실들 사이를 오가는 ‘허위의 글쓰기’를 시도한다. 이러한 허위의 글쓰기는 저자와 독자 모두에게 순수한 즐거움을 경험하게 해주는 ‘유희적 글쓰기’의 한 유형이자, 기존의 문학적 유산들에 대한 또 다른 방식의 기억하기 행위라 할 수 있다.;This article aims to examine various modes of writing found in a novel by Georges Perec and Jacques Roubaud：Le Voyage d’hiver/Le Voyage d’hier(1997). In this work, which consists of two different novels, Le Voyage d’hiver by Perec and Le Voyage d’hier by Roubaud, two writers try new modes of writing as citational writing, re-writing, false writing and seek to consider issues of plagiarism by anticipation.

First, the citational writing constantly sought by Perec and Roubaud, based on borrowings heritages of traditional literature and their variations. It considers the text as puzzle, writing as the act of placing the puzzle. Then Roubaud takes in his Voyage d’hier re-writing for remembering and writing texts Perec. He shows in his novel the story of Le Voyage d’hiver and there inserted pieces of another novel of Perec, 53 jours. Finally, Perec and Roubaud also launching a false writing in their novel, Le Voyage d’hiver/Le Voyage d’hier. They cross the boundaries between the real and the fictional, and between truth and falsehood, browsing the history of French literature of the nineteenth century. As fun than writing, the writing of false brings a joy to the auter as well as to the reader, and gives them an opportunity to remember the rich heritages of the traditional literature.
