Abstract

;This writing aims at researching various strategies to adapt a myth as a source to cultural contents. The major concepts and premises are proposed and leading cases analyzed. As a result of analysis, the strategy for adaptation is divided in adapting the myth as it is, and utilizing the structure and materials of myth. In case of the first one, special character should be reflected by genre actively, and it is necessary to establish the strategy with the purpose of adaptation. It is the major problem how much and in which level myth is reflected as basic source, which is to be determined by the level of enjoyment. The more important one is to establish the character of contents and purpose of plan and to reflect them first. And the second case is not for searching the myth itself and furnishing information, but utilizing the myth actively to create story. As writer changes elements of myth in part or doesn't make clear, and explain context. In the process of enjoying, secondary enjoyment would be active and additional knowledge furnished, which would double concern and interest on the contents. However the myth is specialized, it can't help developing based on the nowness. Nowness is on the assumption, creature should have the support and demand of public. In the center of popularity there is a problem how much it can realize enjoyment effectively. Therefore in the process of adapting the myth to cultural contents, it should be checked certainly to plan the strategy for utilizing enjoyment.
