『주신구라(忠臣蔵)』의 시각적 재현장치 - 다섯 번째 에피소드를 중심으로 -

Abstract

가부키에는 관객들이 선호하는 역할들이 존재한다. 주신구라 다섯 번째 에피소드의 사다쿠로는 등장하자마자 죽는 배역이지만 1766년 나가카무라 나카조의 연기를 통해 짧지만 강렬한 인상을 주는 배역으로 탈바꿈하게 되었다. 오노 사다쿠로가 등장하는 무대를 화면 위에 재현하는 과정에는 가장 시선을 끌 수 있는 시각적인 효과를 내세운 줄거리 속 한 순간을 포착해 배우가 연기중인 인물의 인상적인 모습을 강조함으로써 그림 읽기를 통해 또 다른 오노 사다쿠로에 대한 해석을 도출해낸다.;In Kabuki, there are roles particularly adored by the audience. Although they appear only briefly, they amuse the audience with striking performance. In the Chushingura, Sadakuro plays such a role in the fifth episode. Since he dies as soon as he appears in the play, his line is only one word. Although he is a villain who commits murder, his performance leaves a lasting impression. When the play premiered, he looked shabby, but Sadakuro played by Nakamura Nakajo in 1766 emerged as a popular role that demonstrates what a villain is. Ever since, the role has been coveted by everyone. In the process of reproducing the stage in which Sadakuro appears, a unique expressive technique where a moment is captured to emphasize a memorable scene played by an actor was used. As for the expressive technique that stresses the development of a story of the fifth episode, a story is connected through the reproduction of each and every moment in one scene consecutively. Although the same lines as the original are pictorialized, the composition of the picture changes depending on the emphasized scenes as the story develops.
