현장교사가 지각하는 교육사각지대 학습자의 특성에 대한 합의적 질적 연구

Abstract

본 연구에서는 다양한 교육적 요구가 있어도 교육적 지원이 적절하게 제공되지 않은 위기 학습자를 ‘교육사각지대 학습자’로 정의하고, 이들의 특성에 대한 선행연구의 명시적 지식의 한계를 보완하기 위하여, 현장교사들의 묵시적 지식을 살펴보고자 실시되었다. 이를 위하여 현장교사 10명을 대상으로 비구조화 면접을 실시한 후 합의적 질적 연구 방법을 사용하여 면담내용을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 현장 교사들이 인식한 교육사각지대 학습자의 특성으로 ‘학습 및 인지’, ‘정서행동’, ‘관계’, ‘일상생활’, ‘환경’ 5개의 영역이 도출되었다. 이를 통해, 교육사각지대 학습자의 특성을 정의하기 위해서는 다양한 범주로 구성된 정의가 필요하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 도출된 16개의 범주는 교육사각지대 학습자의 특성을 식별하는데 구체적인 정보를 제공해 줄 것으로 기대한다. 그 밖에 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의하였다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the implicit knowledge of teachers on the characteristics of learners in the blind spots of education in order to compensate for the limitation in the previous research with explicit knowledge. Semi-structured interviews were carried out with 10 teachers and data was analyzed using the Consensual Qualitative Research tool. In result, five domains were revealed as ‘learning and cognition’, ‘emotion and behavior’, ‘relationship’, ‘everyday life’, and ‘environment’. This study examined that the characteristics of learners in the blind spots of education consist of diverse domains. Additionally, 16 categories provide the detailed information to identify the characteristics of at-risk learners. Finally, the implications of this study and suggestion for future research were discussed.
