Age-Friendly Community Landscape Planning to Improve the Elderly Satisfaction -Focused On 204 Old Neighborhood Zone, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province，China-

Abstract

China is a populous country and with the aging demographic trend is second only to the aging trends of Europe and other developed regions. This fact has resulted in a "community care" shift in community research. Currently, the existing outdoor landscape environment designs in most urban communities remain the same and have not taken the needs of the elderly into account. Therefore, to improve the quality of life of elderly people in their later years, significant research into age-friendly community landscape environments is of utmost importance. This research focuses on elderly people who are still able to take care of themselves or have helpers who can help them utilize public space environments, as its primary research focus. The research mainly analyzes the status quo of the target area (204 old neighborhood zone in Shenyang City, China). Frequency analysis, construct reliability analysis, descriptive analysis, variance analysis (ANOVA, T-TEST), IPA analysis, and ordered logistic regression analysis were used to analyze landscape design elements based on the satisfaction and order of importance stated by the elderly residents. The results are as follows: First, Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) results show that the community ecological and green space, traffic, safety, and nursing services are important aspects of the design necessary for the appropriate transformation of the space. The facilities and services of the community, citizen participation, and ecological water quality are aspects that can be maintained as they are. Second, through an ordered logistic regression analysis method, it is concluded that the service will have a significant positive impact on physical health. Meanwhile, urban disaster management, transportation, and greenery have a significant positive impact on psychological health. And to study the influence of community outdoor landscape environment elements on the total satisfaction, ordered logistic regression analysis method results are drawn to conclude that safety generally has a significant positive impact on total satisfaction. Finally, the content system of age-friendly community planning based on community pensions is presented. This paper advances the planning strategies for a landscape environment based on the needs of age-friendly communities, including the planning contents of healthy communities, safe communities, and green communities. Key Words： Aging; Age-friendly communities; Landscape design; Urban community; Physical activity |중국은 인구가 많은 나라이며 고령화 추세는 유럽과 다른 선진국의 고령화 추세에 버금간다. 이러한 사실은 지역사회 연구에 "커뮤니티 케어"의 변화를 가져왔다. 현재 대부분의 도시공동체의 기존 실외 경관 환경 설계는 그대로 유지되고 있으며 고령자의 요구를 고려하지 않은 상태다. 따라서 노년층의 삶의 질을 높이기 위해서는 고령 친화적 공동체 경관 환경에 대한 유의미한 연구가 무엇보다 중요하다. 이 연구는 공공 공간 환경 활용을 도울 수 있는 도우미나 자신을 돌볼 수 있는 노인을 주요 연구 대상으로 한다. 이 연구는 주로 대상 지역(중국 선양시 204 구시가지)의 현황을 분석한다. 고령 거주자가 응답한 만족도 및 중요도 순서에 따라 경관 설계 요소를 분석하기 위해 빈도 분석, 신뢰도 분석, 서술 분석, 분산 분석(ANOVA, T-TEST), IPA 분석, 로지스틱 회귀 분석 등이 활용됐다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중요도-만족도 분석(IPA) 결과는 커뮤니티 생태 및 녹지 공간, 교통, 안전, 간호 서비스가 공간의 적절한 전환에 필요한 설계의 중요한 측면임을 보여준다. 지역 사회의 시설과 서비스, 시민 참여, 생태 수질 등이 그대로 유지될 수 있는 측면이다. 둘째, 로지스틱 회귀 분석 방법을 통해 서비스가 신체 건강에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 도시 재난 관리, 교통, 녹지는 심리 건강에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 또한, 커뮤니티 실외 경관 환경 요소가 전체 만족도에 미치는 영향을 연구하기 위해 로지스틱 회귀 분석 방법 결과를 도출하여 일반적으로 안전이 전체 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 결론을 내렸다. 마지막으로, 공동체 연금을 기반으로 고령 친화 공동체 계획이 제시된다. 본 논문은 건강한 커뮤니티, 안전한 커뮤니티, 녹색 커뮤니티의 계획 콘텐츠를 포함하여 연령 친화적인 커뮤니티의 요구에 따라 경관 환경을 위한 계획 전략을 발전시킨다.
