한국의 성별임금격차 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 근로자의 취업에서 소득까지 분석하는 시스템을 기초로 미시적 경제 조사 데이터를 활용하여 성별임금 소득의 차이를 중점적으로 연구한다. 2008-2018년의 대졸자직업이동조사(GOMS) 데이터를 갖고 Mincer임금방정식 모델과 Oaxaca 임금방정식의 분해방법을 이용하여 성별차이를 분석했다. 한국의 성별임금차이는 전에 비해 줄어들었으나 여전히 지속하고 있다. 2013년까지는 성별 임금격차가 감소하는 추세가 나타났지만 2014년 이후에는 성별 임금격차가 상승하고 있는 추세를 보인다. 학교유형, 지역, 성적, 졸업나이, 종사상지위, 산업 및 종사자수가 성별 임금격차를 설명하는 비중이 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 임금격차 중 설명이 가능한 비율은 2015년부터 감소하기 시작했다. |I study wage differentials between male and female college graduates. I use the GOMS data from 2008 to 2018. I estimate the Mincer wage equations and decompose wage differentials into explaind and unexplained parts using Oaxaca decomposition method. Wage differential by gender in Korea has decreased till 2013 but increased after then. Type of school, region, GPA, age, type of employment, industry and size of the employer explain the wage differentials. Ratio of the explained part has decreased since 2015.
