활동중심 진로체험 프로그램이 진로태도 및 직업가치관에 미치는 효과 : 포천시의 자유학기제 기간 농어촌 중학생들을 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구는 농어촌도시의 교육 현장에서 자유학기제 기간 활동중심 진로체험 프로그램을 통한 학생들의 진로태도 및 직업가치관에 미치는 효과를 규명하고자 하는 목적 아래 수행되었다. 이를 위하여, 2021년 포천시 ‘꿈모락(樂)’ 진로직업체험지원센터에서 운영하는 활동중심 진로체험 프로그램을 관내 학교에 신청받아 포천시 2개 학교의 학생들을 연구 대상으로 선정하였으며, 이들에게 활동중심 진로체험 프로그램의 시행 전과 시행 후의 진로태도와 직업가치관에 관해 묻는 설문지를 배포하여 자료를 수집한 뒤, SPSS 22.0 통계처리프로그램을 활용하여 본 연구의 문제를 해결하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 농어촌 지역의 자유학기제 시행 학교 대상으로 활동중심 진로체험 프로그램의 시행 전/후의 참여 학생들의 진로태도의 각 하위요인(가치, 호감, 기대, 준비)과 진로태도의 평균, 직업가치관의 평균을 비교해 본 결과 진로태도의 모든 하위요인과 진로태도의 평균에서 프로그램 시행 이전과 이후의 차이가 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직업가치관은 프로그램 시행 이전과 이후 평균차이가 음수(-)로 도출되기는 하였으나, 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 보이지 않았다. 셋째, 프로그램 참여자들의 기본적 특성변인에 따른 진로태도와 직업가치관은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 본 연구를 통해 농어촌 지역의 자유학기제 시행 학교들을 대상으로 진로교육에 대한 대안적 수단으로서의 활동중심 진로교육 프로그램의 효과를 제시하였다는 점에 연구의 의의가 있다.|This study was conducted with the purpose of examining the effect on students' career attitudes and professional values through an activity-centered career experience program during the free semester system in the educational field of rural cities. In order to achieve the research purpose, students from two schools in Pocheon-si were selected as research subjects by applying for an activity-centered career experience program operated by the Career Experience Support Center in Pocheon City 'Kkummorak(樂)'. After collecting data by distributing questionnaires asking about career attitudes and job values before and after the implementation of the experience program, the problem of this study was solved by using the SPSS 22.0 statistical processing program. The results of the study are as follows. First, each sub-factor (value, liking, expectation, preparation) of the participating students' career attitude before and after the implementation of the activity-oriented career experience program for schools implementing the free semester system in rural areas, the average of the career attitude, and the average of the occupational values as a result of comparison, it was found that the difference between before and after the program implementation was statistically significant in the mean of all sub-factors of career attitude and career attitude. Second, in terms of job values, although the average difference before and after the implementation of the program was drawn as a negative number (-), but there was no statistically significant difference. Third, there was no statistically significant difference in the career attitudes and job values according to the basic characteristic variables of the program participants. The significance of this study is that it presented the effect of an activity-centered career education program as an alternative means to career education for schools that implemented the free semester system in rural areas through this study.
