dc.description.abstract | Accessories mean the tools to decorate the body. The earrings among accessories decorates and makes the part of head look beautiful and better than anything else as being attached to both sides of the face. The earrings had also been used from the earlier era in Korea. Among them, Silla was very famous in metal arts because Gold and Silver had been produced a lot there. So the peculiar tradition that was inherited in good senses was firmly placed in silla. Therefore, Silla could manufacture the splendid and distinguished accessories that our traditional color was enlivened. Among them, the most famous ones were the golden crown and the earrings. Especially, the earrings are unearthed from the old tombs of the period of Three States in Kyungjoo. So it becomes the registered trademark of the old tombs of Silla. Then, first of all, it is examined the historical background and meanings of the earrings and after that, it is investigated the kinds, the structure, the material and the technical method of the earrings on the basis of the relics that still remain up to now. | en_US |
