Abstract
A poly(imidazoliummethyl styrene)-surface grafted-polystyrene resin was prepared by suspension polymerization. Thiswas used as the polymer-supported carbene precursor for the palladium complex, which efficiently catalyzed the Suzuki cross-coupling of aryl halides and phenylboronic acid.
